The brief
The Rossy Cancer Network brings McGill University together with partner hospitals that each carry their own established identity.
The network needed a role and a territory of its own, complementary to the institutions it represents, and a co-branding strategy that gives every stakeholder appropriate representation within one unified network.
The approach
The work began with brand foundations: core purpose, personality attributes and the principles that govern how the network and its partners appear together.
The symbol was explored through a series of studies before arriving at overlapping forms that express partnership without erasing the individual institutions.
The system was then built out across stationery, documents, communications, the website, newsletters and presentation templates, with co-branding rules for each.
